No Ceasing

Pray without ceasing; is it even possible?
My answer is a Loud Yes
It may seem unrealistic
But, the benefit makes it achievable
 
I love to use this illustration
Clear a field of grass or what else
If you do nothing on the field
The grass grows right back
 
I will describe the grass as issues and stuff
When your field is worked on consistently
Yes, the grass will want to show up
But you are hands on to exterminate
 
If you won’t be consistent in the place of prayer
You won’t be a wise land owner
Maintaining your field always
Makes you spot an intrusion early
 
Now praying must be backed with knowledge
You are conversing with an All Wise God
Don’t come displaying ignorance
This is why you need to study His word
 
And when faced with a pertinent concern
Dedicate more time in dealing with it
There are great rewards
For me; it’s the presence of God
 
I believe you know it’s not all about ask, receive
It’s an opportunity to worship The Awesome God
His aura will rob on you
And you get to enjoy ease out there

Peter asked to walk on water; and he did
He chose to believe for more; and he started
What others dared and feared; he attempted
And right in the middle; he began to sink
 
He started with great faith...
Steadily progress was being made...
Suddenly a mishap or mistake...
And its turning to a thing of regret...

No one sets out to fail on  a task

But as it is said... life happens

Why did I decide to do this... he thought to himself

I must be a fool to think I can pull it off...

The project he started had become overwhelming
He believed he could move the mountain...

He had faith he could get the job done...

What was an initial success, is turning to failure
 
If he knew he will lose; he wouldn’t have dared

If he thought he wont finish: he wont have began

He took his gaze off Jesus and now this

He has laid the foundation; he must complete it

Thankfully he was wise enough to call for help

Peter teaches a valid message on prayer

Let's learn from him; don't drown in the mess

The effectual prayer of the righteous avails much...

You may cry, complain  or worry...

You could blame the economy or the devil...

You can even be angry that Jesus also saw the waves...

Or you can just pray to your Savior...

But when he looked around at the high waves, he was terrified and began

There's More

Few more laps to go in the year
Yet I am certain there's still much more
I can't seem to bring it to a wrap

I am focused on what it still hold

  
There's celebration and I'm gearing up
There's a project that must be completed

I cant pack up and leave yet

I hear the Lord say, there's more

There’s still time before it ends
The game is not over and I’m not quitting
I am not ready to back down
There are treasures to still unearth

So I stand in faith
The best is still ahead
I will not back down or speak contrary
I won't stop believing

I will not stop praying and possibly fasting
I will not throw in the towel
I must get all that is mine
So join in, lets push further there's much more

The wine may arrive late
But it’s the best there is

Its time to listen to your Lords instruction

He says there is still plenty to enjoy

No one can stop the hand of God 
None can stop him from speaking
He His a sovereign... He must be obliged

More He says; More I get
