Joe’s School of Hardknocks

Joseph is the special one
Loved by dad, child of the preferred wife
So at his mom's death...
Dad naturally transferred the love to the son of his old age

He was quite the kid and given a coat of many colours...
Everyday became as an opportunity to show off
He also constantly snitched on his brothers to dad
So he was hated by eleven out of twelve siblings
 
He was a special one also to God
His predestination is to be a global leader
His wisdom will eradicate hunger saving untold multitude

But Joe has to be put to proper shape

Where he is now to where he's going is a far cry
Mama’s boy has got some growing to do
He must lose the connection to dad
The lover that was blind to his flaws

His journey will take him on a tour into adversity
The beloved prince will be thrown into a ditch
Then get sold into slavery, from there to prison
this many years of adversity smooth the rough edges
 
A giant will emerge but with painstaking effort
If you have a destiny such as Joseph...
Get ready to go to the school of hardknocks

There you will be hammered into the suitable shape

To be committed, devoted and loyal
These uncanny traits are rare in relationship
When seen; it may not be lasting

This type of bond is still a rarity

 
Where is the love proposed years ago?
Those loved up scenes have fast disappeared
Like a smoke its gone without a trace 

Memories is what is left, unpleasant; bitter
Can we stop hurting ourselves?
Can we stay true to our words and bonds?
 
Where peace and love abounds is good to stay
When brothers dwell together in harmony
Joy to the world, peace on earth
 
One day we get to return to Eden
The garden of wealth and peace
We get restored to the pleasant beginning
 
A world we may have to learn to habit
No suspicion, no hate and no violence
Heaven is here; Heaven at last
 
God calls out, return to rest
Life continues after earths sojourn
Keep eternity in view; its life infinite

Making Jesus your Lord is paramount if lasting peace is what you seek

Shame; Delete

Shame is the opposite of glory. 
It is what the devil tries to put on believers. 
It aims to discredit God's goodness. 
You must disallow it.

God sewed clothes for Adam and Eve even in their banishment. 

He will not allow them to be further ridiculed. 

A believer is an heir of God, 

how can royalty walk with head bowed.

The owner of shame is Satan, don't share is curse. 

Anything that doesn't depict glory is shame. 

Tear that garment off your body, be adorned as a kings kid. 

Your heritage is glory.

Nakedness is shameful, so is wearing rags. 

Only those without their senses appear in such. 

It makes spiritual sense to do self scrutiny. 

Where are you sensing shame?

Arise with the weapons of God's word and prayers. 

Resist the devil swiftly and he will flee.  

Reject any intending shame in your life.

Your portion is glory

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall i not be confounded

therefore i have set my face as a flint, and i know that i shall not be ashamed

Isaiah 50 :7

"Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. 

Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. 

You will forget the shame of your youth and remember 

no more the reproach of your widowhood.
Isaiah 54:4

Wait

What you are waiting for shall come around
Right now it doesn’t seem as though
Hold on the wait will be worth it
The one who promised never lie
 

In a fast paced world, waiting can be a bore
Watching the hours go without end
All you have is an expectation
But often time doubts can drown the expecting
 
All God gives is His word
All you do is to believe
Hoping in His faithfulness
Recounting tales of those with their favours

 
It is several months in obscurity
It may even be years with no answers
It is no mean feat
Only those who waited can tell how easy
 
It will be your set season
Your dark night will be over
A new dawn breaks forth
It will be all smiles and joy

Good Money

Success is the destination we’re all headed
The routes we take often differ
Gold and silver is good to have in abundance
Let’s have God involved in the sojourn

 

It’s common to see flagrant display of wealth online

We are constantly bombarded by glamorous show-offs
Remember, people only share what they want seen
If you see the rest of the picture; you may not envy as much
 

The earth is plenteous in natural resources

Gold, diamonds, treasures; are in vast abundance in our world
All these resources are there for man’s benefit
Put there by God our Creator; who also wants us to have them
 
These earthly goodies are there
But the number of those benefiting is very lean
Man and its system is a major deterrent
Greed and lack of contentment is another
 
You can amass all the wealth…
But note; when you exit the world you take nothing with you
History tells tales of men who had buried with them treasures…
Something to use in their afterlife; these makes great archeology finds
 

Another life continues after death
Do not allow materialism hinder your eternity of rest
We have heard that Heaven is real, but Hell is also very real
Life on earth is temporal for all
 
Make money; but always with eternity in view
Live in comfort without forgetting your creator
Showoff your blessings but always with the right motive
Live in contentment and believe for more

Time to Find Out

Time to sleep, time to talk
Time to shop, time for the television
Time to surf the internet, time for pleasure
Time for work, but no time for God

We have time to entertain friends

Time for parties, time for idle talks

All these are not bad...
But, we hardly create time for our Maker

 
Life is more than food and wine
Life is about finding your reason for being
God the creator; made you for a purpose
Black, white, red, brown; you are made for something specific
 
Purpose is to be discovered
Our life goal must be to pursue it
We are created humans, made in Gods image…
We are made to run his errands; not ours...
 
You have lived for yourself
Why not live the remainder of your days for God
You have used your talents to promote ambitions

Its time to please your Maker...

He wrote the script of your life

He has a predetermined role for you to play

The stage is still set, you are still needed

Seek God and find your own part in the picture...

The manufacturer determines what his product does.

Stop living as though you are accountable to no one

Ecclesiastes 12:1. Amplified Version

REMEMBER [earnestly] also your Creator [that you are not your own, but His property now] in the days of your youth, before the evil days come or the years draw near when you will say [of physical pleasures], I have no enjoyment in them
