It was sent to Abraham and it produced Isaac
It was addressed to Pharaoh to release Israel
 
God’s word has continually dominated
Breaking down opposing thoughts
Knocking off hindrances and barricades
The word in combat has always won
 
The Lord wanted Nineveh saved
However, His word must firstly be preached
This will bring forth repentance and returning…
Nineveh will repent and God will pardon
 
A man strategized to avert Gods intent
A mere mortal stood to hinder Gods desire
The plan of God was what Jonah opposed
He will be bulldozed into the fishes’ mouth
 
You can’t do anything against the truth but for it
The word of God sustains the will of God
Wherever His word is; it must prevail against the odds
Whatever stand to hinder must be cancelled
 
The Lord and His word is same
He wants His word winning all the time
Receive His word over all aspect of your life
Fight all oppositions in faith; victory is the reward

To The Giants

There are giants in everyman’s land
If they have not showed up, they are en-route
That’s why God must be at the center of all you do
He must be the one setting you on that path
 
Jesus is fond of making these statements…
My Father is always with me
I and my Father are one
My Father sent me; am not alone…
 
There were giants in His own land
There are issues to tackle, obstacles, difficulties etc.
It was not a smooth ride for the Messiah
He kept mentioning Gods involvement with Him
 
This is a faith booster in the face of adversity
Even when it’s not adding up
The greatest encourager is to know God is with me
That I have not ventured out by my own self
 
With this anchor you can face your giant
You can command your mountains to move
You can subdue oppositions and tire adversaries
You do not hide; you engage with Gods backing
 
Personally; I have always sought God in all I do
If by error I ventured out by self
I retreat till I find His will on the matter
If He is not there; I count the loss and back out
 
If God sent you; He won’t abandon you
If you feel alone; recall His instructions
Ask your judge and advocate for help
You will always come out tops regardless of the giant

Who Would Have Thought...

Jesus knew exactly why He was born
He knew He was to die on the cross...
He knew his mission is to restore man back
Who would have thought this will happen...
 
At the 11^th hour Jesus wanted to back out
Let this cup pass over me He said
But added quickly; not my will...
Same could be written of outspoken Peter
 
He was specifically pre-informed
This very night you will betray me
He was fast to rebuff the notion
Who would have thought this will happen...
 
That before a young girl
Dear Peter will deny His master thrice
Peter that cut off a soldiers ear moments ago
He who thinks he stands; please take heed…
 
The devils desire is to shift Peter
The devils desire is to cause us to fall
We can count on God’s help in times of weakness
His strength is available in our down times
 
Apostle Paul talked about a thorn in his flesh
God’s grace sufficed for him
He finished well the race set before him
Peter also finished in grand style
 
Our darling Jesus subdued the redemption hurdles
He came, He saw and He conquered
We can count on his intercessions for us
We can rely on His grace to pull through
 
Let’s acknowledge our limitations as mere mortals
Let’s rely and tune in to the help of the Holy Spirit
Have relations you can express your vulnerability before

You may wonder at her privilege
What qualifies her for famed blessings?
When so called pious have nothing
 
Mercy, grace, positioning, favour, etc…
She got helped while several died
Imagine a prostitute being the reason…
An entire family is spared from Joshua’s sword
 
Situation may have shoved harlotry her way
But in her converse with the spies…
It’s clear she has Gods love in her heart
When opportunity presented itself…
 
She picked the kind of life she truly wanted…
At the risk of being caught and punished
She choose to protect and affiliate with Gods people
Some in her position will choose to be rewarded
 
Delilah received ransom for Samson’s head
Rahab just want an exit from old to new
Let’s not just gloss over her story
She is a remarkable woman with great lessons for all
 
God’s blessings is what she longed for
Her profession disqualified her
Her heart revealed her truest desire
I believe she quit the job after
 
The blessing from God is bliss
It’s truly unexplained by words
It’s a comforting assurance of a way out
It’s a piece of Heaven in the unpredictable world
