Fate or Faith

There's a destination ahead of all
A predestined place by God
A wonderful place to get to
A place of dreams fulfilled and joy untold

There's a place of fate
A place for those who chose to accept defeat
A place unlike God's planned destination
A place for those who will not fight for God's best

Fight the good fight of faith
Faith is a journey of war
A fight against fate
A fight to have God's best irrespective...

It is a war against the norm
A battle of mind...
A mind renewed by the word of God
A battle against Satan's opinion

It is a daily battle
A battle that starts from a place of discovery
Discovery of God's intended plan for me
A battle you must win

Don't accept your present fate
There's a much better plan
You can have that baby, job or spouse
You can live free of sickness, debt or curse

Know the provision God has made for you
This means study His word, your Bible
Your faith will build up as you do this
Then you can challenge fate and overcome by faith

I will not accept any unpleasant fate I will have God's best.

For I know the thoughts I have for you says the Lord, thoughts to prosper you not to harm you, thoughts to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11

No Shame

Ordinary people

We are just ordinary people

Living ordinary lives

Going about our business normally

But doing extra ordinary things

Untitled, unranked, but enlisted

It is not rocket science

You do not need voluminous curriculum vitae

All that is expected is that you be committed

Totally bought over by the Lord’s assignment

The Lord wants the world saved

He needs ordinary men and women

Who have an extra ordinary love for Him

And are willing to do His every bid

Start where you are

Talk to someone, smile, and share a word

Just have a sense of duty as you engage in your normal duty

The man or woman you meet today may need your Godly counsel

Do not pass by an opportunity to be good

Act on the promptings of the Holy Spirit

Say a word of prayer for the fellow whose picture came to your mind

It is so simple to be a blessing

Just have the mindset as you go about your normal day

Your ordinary day will be a most fulfilling one

When you think of how many smiles you brought to peoples face

It is not so much in the big things

Show you care in the little things too

It is that simple, and there’s more

For the good you do today

A bounty reward awaits you

The Lord is not a slave driver

Each worker gets paid fully

Everywhere Jesus went He was doing good, Be a Jesus to someone today

I am not ashamed of the gospel it is the power of God unto salvation.

Truth is the world out there is in chaos, they are confused the good news of Jesus is the way out. People need hope. You will be amazed of how much hopelessness is out there, share your faith with one. Share your testimony. Whatever God has done for you make it a trend.

HELLLOooo!!!

I have been speaking for a while

I noticed my friend had gone silent

I glanced his way

He was far gone in the dream land

At what point I lost him to sleep I do not know

But I was disappointed

I had poured my heart to one that was not there

I had spoken and I was not heard

No feedback could be gotten

My words were gone with the wind

My friend realized his wrong and apologized

But, will I want to repeat the motions?

My disappointment brought me to a realization

My good friend was just been human

However, I have one that neither slumber nor sleep

I have one that will always hear me

Like the prodigal, I realized; it’s time I talk to HIM

So I arose packed my bag and left

As I walked home I started talking to Him

And remembered the words of a popular hymn

Oh what peace we often forfeit

O what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer

I learnt my lesson years back and am wiser now

My simple advice, Talk to God more

It pays to pray, Pray with His words

Talk to Him about all issues

Do you know Him?

So many people do not know who God is, yet they cannot deny His existence.

God is in all. The great hand that upholds the universe.

The seeing eyes that nothing is hidden before.

The know it all that sees your hidden thoughts.

So many people do not know of His works.

The witty creator that formed bones in a woman’s womb.

The wonder worker that created the seas and its innumerable dwellers.

The tamer of mammals, the Lord of all creation.

So many people do not know His ways.

The self-existing God who became world ruler without an election.

The one who is as ancient yet forever current

The uncreated kingmaker that uses the weak to confound the strong

So many people do not understand His might

And truly no one has seen the full extent of His power

Unmatched by the strongest beast, ever strong, forever portent

Nothing can be compared or likened to His powerful might

So many people do not know His love

A love so strong that He gave His son to die for all

A love that brings the best out of the worst of us

A love daily available for all to receive

So many people do not know Him and truly none of us knows Him fully

The little I know of Him, the little I have heard, the little I have seen…

Tells me I am in the safest place possible

This knowledge gives me the best assurance and peace

Will you like to know Him?

Will you like to begin a love relationship with the Lord? Please say this words out loud. Lord Jesus I will like to know you more. I will like you to be my Lord and savior. Please forgive me all my sins and make me your child today. Help me to grow daily in you. I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Getting to know God is a lifelong project and you can start by getting a Bible and reading. You can also know God by fellowshipping with other believers.
