He choose to run from God
He was unhappy that God could be merciful
And to help God he would rather not speak
Why show mercy to Nineveh?
They are evil
Why would God ask me to speak peace?
Let the Ninevites experience the wrath of God
Evil is on the increase
God could wipe out the wicked in an instant
But, He wants them saved; so He will not destroy yet
This news seem unfair considering the evil in the world
God; the loving creator
Wants to partner with us in reaching the unlovable
Just as Jonah we are called…
To reach terrorists, rapist, murderers…
Have you been instructed as Jonah?
Then Awake and get down now to your Nineveh…
To that evil and wicked people
Tell them of their sins; but show God’s love
This single call is God’s demand on us all
