Why You Must Pray for Your Child

The bible tells of a father whose son was grieved by demons

It wanted to destroy the boy
The father brought him to Jesus’s disciples
When they couldn't help; He brought him to Jesus

He didn’t give up on seeking help for his son

Fathers don't leave these role only to mothers
This man endured the embarrassment  the boy brought
He also partook of the joy in his deliverance…  Mark 9:17-27

Mothers help your daughters overcome oppression
The Syrophenician woman endured insult
Jesus constantly refused her, But she didn't quit on the child
She prodded Jesus till she receive help for her daughter….. Mark 7:25-30

Why will you leave your children alone
Help them find the helper
Lead them to the Messiah
Be a parent that will groom them for glory

Jesus helped the boy also the girl
Several children received help because their parents sought out Jesus
Jarius daughter etc
You are their guardian, don't second this role to another
 
There are predators out there seeking to devour
Don't play ostrich, be a deliberate parent
You will account for them you know
Let Jesus guide you in this graced journey of parenting
 
Parents you can't give what you don't have
Reason you yourself must have a relationship with Jesus
If you seek help in idols and things other than God
You are compiling future woes for them

The stories of these parents are great inspirations

Examples to emulate in handling difficult children
They sought the right help for their wards
They were rewarded with rest...
