An Outbreak of God

In the face of the brutal realities of our time

The day’s approaches that was said of two famous people

In seeking lasting solutions to issues

In wanting a better world; I gladly introduce Micah and Isaiah

In the last days…

…the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established

As chief among the mountains

It will be raised above the hills

And all nations will stream to it   Isaiah 2:2; Micah 4:1

The knowledge of God will increase

Many people will come and say

Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord…

He will teach us his ways

So that we will walk in his path… Isaiah 2:3; Micah 4:2

From War to Work

…they will beat their swords into plowshares

And their spears into pruning hooks

Nation will not take up sword against nation

Nor will they train for war anymore Isaiah 2:4; Micah 4:3

Your part in this

Come, all believers of Jesus

Let us believe and walk in the light of this truth Isaiah 2:5; Micah 4:5

It is important that we stay abreast of all the negatives

And be expectant of a work of grace

This must reflect in our confession and prayers

This news we must believe and share among all

Do not use your head to analyze its possibility

Just like the Patriarchs’; only believe

For with God all things are possible

Let this be our motivation and joy

H(U)gly Bear

Do not let those cute teddies deceive you

A bear is not a friendly animal

If you need a hug stay away from them

Stay also away from unfriendly friends

They speak peace but keep an inferno inside

Some brethren have suffered great losses…

Some have lost business, marriage, children, sanity…

To a supposed revered “Christian”

A Christian sister lost her spouse to a prayer partner

God is merciful, but please be discerning

I know no man after the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16)

Joshua fell cheaply to the Gibeonites deception (Joshua 9:3-16)

Wolves in sheep clothes; don’t play nice with them

Treat them as you will treat cancer; remove completely

Strange bed fellows; please do get rid of them

There is no point keeping a snake as a pet; it’s deadly

There are numerous satanic agents amidst the sheep

Their mission is to strike at a close range

I call them the Ugly Hug bear

Take counsel; do not fall into their trap

Summary of this epistle - be careful of the friends you keep

Experiments

He goes into the lab as a man and comes out as a woman

Or the she went in and comes out a he

Just like I drive my car to a repairer and get a totally different make

But in this case tampering with God’s hand

When God seems to be silent on some issues

We must never assume He is in consent

Definitely, this is a knowledge generation

But clearly we are not observing our boundaries

Genesis 11: 1-9

God is the creator of life

He made them male and female

A great mystery that starts in a woman womb

Is being experimented on by man

This unending disregard for God will not go without a reprimand

Some do not even know that God sees all

Several voices speaks against this evil

I hope you have heard and amended your ways

Let the discerning note

This call is to remind us that God reigns supreme…

Sodom and Gomorrah went up in smoke

Noah’s generation was wiped out in a flood

We have far surpassed them in wickedness

While some continue with this evil experiments

I pray many more will repent and forsake evil

Bible Passage: For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if He did not spare the ancient world when He brought the flood on its ungodly people; ..; if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly 2 Peter 4-6

Who Goes There!

We have a responsibility

It involves checking up on our young ones

Going by the statistics

It seems our stories are a bore; they need more

Parenting is losing face

For a sub; we have the internet and peers

While the parents are swamped in buzyness

Something else is filling the vacuum

We need mentors

Who will take interest and help model Christ

By leading an exemplary life

The most disturbed youth can be helped

These youngsters are the future

Can you save one from destruction?

Many have modeled with words rather than by actions

These guys are intelligent, you can’t deceive them

Where are the righteous in the land?

Here’s another assignment for you

Make a deliberate effort to aid a youngster from straying

You will long be remembered for it

When I am called

“I have done what I could do for God and the people with my eyes. Now I shall see what I can do for God and the people without my eyes”. William Booth the founder of Salvation Army made this comment shortly after losing his sight.

For every error we find in our systems

There is a solution provider close bye

The fact that the problem caught your notice is enough

But the question is, who will bear the burden

William and Catherine Boothe identified a problem

And they expended their time, resource and energy to sort

They have long been called home by their Maker

I can only imagine, what welcoming they received

In the short life we have been given

We will give account of our use of it

What did you do with the opportunity; talents…

The Lord who gave the gifts will ask how you used it

Never think that you are here just to satisfy you

Have you thought of why God created you?

Why he situated you where you are

Why he has sustained you this while

When I read about the efforts of men and women

And the enormous odds and oppositions they confronted

I wonder if the excuses we give aren’t lame

We can do much if we will partner with God…

As the Lord been tugging your heart asking you to arise for a course

You need to make a move

Prepare to meet your Maker…

I hope when you are called

You will answer without giving an excuse

As prayer can be your convenient excuse

A child makes attempts at walking

The parent aid as much as they can

You may be denying yourself of God’s help

Because you have consistently failed to move out

The greater the dream, the greater the risk

Why not start out; fear and all...

You will not fail

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your curtains wide, do not hold back; strengthen your stakes… “Do not be afraid you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace you will not be humiliated…

When Saul came to Jesus

A passion so strong fueled him

Attacking Christians was His life’s goal

The modern day terrorist

He attained wealth, dignity a tormentor of the church of Christ

Saul receives the love of Christ

He went on to be a foremost worker of the Lord

The hard hearted terrorist

Submitted to the only true God

The Love of Christ still reaches to all

The death of Christ grants the access

Was I to pass a judgment on Saul…

It will be a call of what you sow you reap

Many just like Saul are been drawn by the Lord

The mercy of God extends to the worst of sinners

The prostitute, the thieves, the terrorist…

If you have not received Jesus; you are called today

The end of days is here

The gospel message reaches to all

God is drawing the hearts of the hardened to Himself

Nothing could compare to the love of Christ

 If you are reading this, then you have heard the salvation message

Decide for Jesus today; here’s a little help

Lord Jesus I ask to become your child today. Please forgive all my sins and remove its guilt from me. I acknowledge that you died and rose again for me, so that I won’t be under the rule of Satan again. I make you the Lord of my life today; help me never to look back. Lord also direct me to a godly church where I will be nurtured and groomed for your glory. Thank you for saving me in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

The Facebook account of Jesus

If Jesus were alive in the flesh today

He will be on every social media…

TV, Radio, Instagram, twitter, periscope, facebook

Doing what He does best

The internet is an important medium of preaching Christ

It is far reaching and quick

The limitations and stress of long travels can be reduced

And with the increasing demands on our time

It provides the perfect opportunity to talk about Christ

The decline of morals and godly standards

Clearly indicate that the return of Jesus is round the corner

The salvation of the lost must be paramount and tagged urgent

It is time the lovers of Christ rise up to the need of the now

In a chat with a dear friend he complained on the lack of standards

And every negative trends in the church

Not wanting to join in the sad tales I made him to see the bigger picture

That involves all Christians talking about Christ and what He wants

God has got something up His sleeves

And His joker card will knock the devil out and bring many to Christ

But whatever God will do

Men and women must be poised and ready to move at the command

My epistle is simple; my call to you is to rep Christ online

Write, sing, act use your gifts and please be consistent

You never know how your actions will help someone decide for Christ

Remember Paul plants; Apollos waters; God gives increase

Be the Jesus the world seeks for. Remember everything you procure, posses and achieve on earth will be destroyed someday. Have a huge investment in heaven; on your online platform(s) you can start right now.

Bible Reading: How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns”. Isaiah 52:7
