Decide to Touch

In shame, inconvenience but with determination
The woman set out to obtain freedom

Her mission is to touch Jesus

She shoved and pushed as much as her weak frame can carry

But she was energized by a resolve
If I just touch the hem of his cloth: I will be okay

Mission fulfilled: twelve years blood flow ceased

I wonder about the others in the crowd

Did they get their miracles or they were merely tagging along

I wonder about you; are you an escort or driven by purpose?

Have you asked yourself the pertinent question...?

How much longer do i want to cohabit with unfulfillment...?

How persistent are you to get the Helpers touch?

What He did before He can do again and again…

For those who will act like the woman with the issue of blood

Why You Must Pray for Your Child

The bible tells of a father whose son was grieved by demons

It wanted to destroy the boy
The father brought him to Jesus’s disciples
When they couldn't help; He brought him to Jesus

He didn’t give up on seeking help for his son

Fathers don't leave these role only to mothers
This man endured the embarrassment  the boy brought
He also partook of the joy in his deliverance…  Mark 9:17-27

Mothers help your daughters overcome oppression
The Syrophenician woman endured insult
Jesus constantly refused her, But she didn't quit on the child
She prodded Jesus till she receive help for her daughter….. Mark 7:25-30

Why will you leave your children alone
Help them find the helper
Lead them to the Messiah
Be a parent that will groom them for glory

Jesus helped the boy also the girl
Several children received help because their parents sought out Jesus
Jarius daughter etc
You are their guardian, don't second this role to another
 
There are predators out there seeking to devour
Don't play ostrich, be a deliberate parent
You will account for them you know
Let Jesus guide you in this graced journey of parenting
 
Parents you can't give what you don't have
Reason you yourself must have a relationship with Jesus
If you seek help in idols and things other than God
You are compiling future woes for them

The stories of these parents are great inspirations

Examples to emulate in handling difficult children
They sought the right help for their wards
They were rewarded with rest...

Good Road Please

Driving on a smooth road does a car good
You arrive early
The vehicle is in top shape
Less strain on the driver

Driving on a bumpy road is a nightmare
You spend more time on the road
The vehicle gets beat down
More strain on the driver
 
When the lord says I will go ahead of you
I will level the mountains
I will smooth rough roads etc.
The best example I find is driving on bad roads
 
Even my jeep is crying for help
The potential of my car is limited
I am forced to go at snail speed
I spend more on fuel and maintenance
 
Don’t put your exotic car on a bad road
You can be easily spotted and harmed
Your pace is slowed; you and your car are at risk
And in driving slow, even rickety cars seem faster

The Lord told Moses, i will go before you
He will clear all hiccups expected and unexpected
Having this promise is crucial for our thriving
So many issues out there

The afflictions of the righteous may be many
But God will deliver him from them all... Psalm 34:19
A child of God may fall multiple times
But He will keep rising and going higher... Proverbs 24:16

As you walk or drive your terrain
Be sure to have Gods presence with you
He fulfils His own promises
You however must make Him your only source

And the Lord replied, i will personally go with you, Moses
i will give you rest, everything will be fine for you... Genesis 34:14

Fort of Refuge

 

My fortress
My shelter from all storms
My Hiding place
My place of refuge
 

In the wicked world we live
We need a home away from home
A secret place of peace
A safe haven from all storms
 

God has become my place

In Him I hide
In His love I stride
In His peace I abide
 
It is the sweetest note
The most beautiful knowledge
To have my guide with me
The Lord strong and mighty walks with me
 
I march gallantly
I walk majestically
The sweet presence of God
Adorns my abode
 
So lovingly has He kept me
So much peace as He given me
I love the way the Lord cares for me
I rest securely in His love
 
Life is sweeter; Life is good
Come on board; the Lord ship sails by you
True rest, true joy, real victories
Come along; come enjoy

Speaking...

 

I have been speaking for a while

I noticed my friend was silent
I glanced his way…
He was far gone in dream land
 
At what point I lost him to sleep I do not know
But I was disappointed
I had poured my heart to one that was not there
I had spoken and I was not heard
 
No feedback could be gotten
My words were gone with the wind
My friend realized his wrong and apologized
But; will I want to repeat the epistle?
 
My disappointment brought me to a realization
My good friend was just been human
However, I have one that neither slumber nor sleep
I have one that will always hear me
 
Like the prodigal, I realized; it’s time I talk to HIM
So I arose packed my bag and left
As I walked home I started talking to Him
And remembered the words of a popular hymn
 
Oh what peace we often forfeit
O what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer
 
Pray in accordance to Gods will
Make prayer your way of life
Talk to Him about all issues
It profits immensely
 
Job 8:5,6 But if you pray to God and seek the favor of the Almighty, if you are pure and live with complete integrity, he will rise up and restore your happy home

Light Time

Whatever the dark had going on, the instance God said the words... 

Let there be light... The reign of darkness ended instantly. 
May the light of God appear in all your ways 
May it guide you as you navigate in life.

Moses lead the Israelites out of Egypt, but there's a barrier...

They were faced with a mass of seawater. 

The Egyptians were also hot in pursuit. 

God gave the instruction, go forward.

Right before their eyes, the huge sea parted 

There was a solution even in that impossible barricade
God would make that open sea the burial site of their pursuer's.
You will prevail over unrelenting and unrepentant enemies.

A child of God has the right to call on God in an instant

Your Heavenly Father has influence in all realms
How much longer do you intend to do life alone
Get Him involved in your matters...

God did not make you one the devil can mess with 
Shake off all cloak of darkness. Get renewed in your mind. 
You are unharrassable; however if you are troubled...
You deal with the enemy as God instructs.

Let there be light..., it is necessary you are not in the dark
It is difficult to have a smooth drive if your vehicle is not adequately lighted. 
Seek to have God's light in the area of challenge. 
Then you will be able to take charge accordingly.

Its the devil that gains if you are ignorant. Study
Let God's light permeate all areas of your life
Send darkness on permanent exile.

The work of evangelizing the world is not limited to the altar
It is a general task that all must be actively involved
You are saved to help save others
In this family of faith all hands must get busy

 

The parable of the talent is applicable to all
The master gave the gifts for multiplying
Each based on capacity, each as the master willed
Several play the ostrich, bury the talent
 
This attitude is still seen till date
Leave the work to those on the altar
If we go by that trend, less will be achieved
Sadly few impacts against the multitude in churches
 
Acting unperturbed is pleasing to satan
I thought your life is to please your Maker
You need to get up and dig out your buried talent
A bad worded paper is better than a newspaper never published
 
Some even play the critic, fellows of Sanballat and Tobias
Standing in opposition to those doing their bit
Critics of those working on their talents
Sadly this are supposed fellow believers
 
God grant me grace to shine my light to one or two
I will use what you give me to do my bit
May it be pleasing an acceptable to you my Lord
And grant me the grace to do much more
 
The call goes to you too
Come out and be counted
Repent and make needful adjustments
The Lords desire must be your life pursuit

Freedom Country

For decades they worked without pay

After a while they cried to be free
The Lord issued the command
Let! My People Go

From the tens that went to Egypt

Israel had multiplied exceedingly
This increase was threatening to Egypt
So they turned them to slaves
 
The Lords children subjected to ill treatments
In time they realized its best they left
But Egypt will have no such
So they cried incessant to their God
 
Like Israel we will often need Gods help
The opposition like Egypt will always resist
Know God beyond Sunday services
Every day you should get to know THE IAM
 
Good to have money; but it can fail
Good looks, popularity; fantastic if so blessed
Every other thing is fleeting
Lasting peace and victory; found only in Christ
 
Life in generality is laced with ups and downs
Best to sojourn this world with its creator
The one who delivered Israel from Egypt tyranny
And led them to freedom country
 
Another epistle on the love of Christ
Another reminder to seek His help when needed
The wicked does not let off easily
You will need His great arm to stop all opposers

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their
 arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, 
and the light of your face, for you loved them. Psalm 44:3

Is Jesus in your life? Be doubly sure…

Lord Jesus I come today in repentance of all my wrongs, 
please forgive me my sins. I acknowledge you as the Lord of all 
please come and become the Lord of me. Wash me from all my 
sins and guilt’s of sin. Make me your child today. Also Lord 
deliver me from all oppression of the wicked. Thank you for

All Coloured People

Man has never been black or white

Every complexion is a colour
Every colour has a name
I am yet to see a white man or a black woman

Science claims man came from Homo sapiens

This ape like creature at some point evolved to man
These beings are brown skinned and originally from Africa
As they migrate to different climate their skin colour changed
 
I believe God created all beings
If we go with biblical report
Man was made in the image and likeness of God
So I ask; what colour is God?
 
Every skin colour is a beautiful expression of Gods diversity
Diverse language, culture and believe
None superior to the other, none to be forced down on the other
Why are beings so intelligent displaying such ignorance?
 
All lives matter to God, All colour is important
Mutual respect and tolerance must be our guide
You aren’t superior to me or i to you
We are beings whose DNA is uniquely configured
 
All acts of wickedness as regards skin colour is sin
Acceptance; we all came from a singular source
Time has come to uproot and throw out racism
Respect all skin tone, it is a gift
 
 
P.S Some research reports that the first Briton was dark skinned (Cheddar man)

Changing Fate

Jabez name placed a limit on his life
His mother called him a child of sorrow
This was the fate he sojourned with for years
One day he realized he could change it 

Why accept a fate unsuitable

A fate placed by color, family, background, etc.
The devil seeks who to dumb his thrash on
But I have a better fate with God
 
I will not allow anything put a lid on my life
I will strive till my lot is changed for better
I will not allow unpleasantness rule my life
I choose what I want and how I want it
 
Nothing is to be forced down my throat 
I am the architect designing my own future
All I need is to get informed...
How do I bring forth or stop this horrid fate
 
A relationship with God is crucial
He is the real destiny changer
A study of His world will give you understanding
Faith will arise from a heart full of God’s word
 
The Bible chronicles people who changed their fate
Our world is full of persons who rose from nothing
The one who gave you breath wants to help
You have all to gain by letting Him in

The story of Jabez changed from sorrow to sweet

He broke free from the limit placed on him

You will arise from that depth of despair

If you will brace up and take responsibility

Chronicles 4:9-10

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 

 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Sweet Exclaim

Their frightening cry was a pleasing sound to the ear
Let us get away from them!!!!!!!
Their God is fighting for them against us
This is one exclaim, all your enemies must make

I hope you know that the devil is very persistent
From the several encounters with Moses
Pharaoh was still insistence on keeping back Israel
Though several signs were displayed; he stubbornly refused

Somehow God often allows this back and forth
Though unpleasant, its to show off His sovereignty
The end is very near, and as the enemy insistence
So must a believer persist in faith and prayers

I think God likes watching on this charade of Satan
Waiting for the exact moment He calls his bluff
When the wicked become their own advisers
Exclaiming let's get away from them...

Exodus 14:25 Their chariot wheels began to come off,
 making their chariots impossible to drive. 
"Let's get out of here!" the Egyptians shouted. 
"The Lord is fighting for Israel against us!"

Soon your enemies will make this chant
For God will surely arise in your defense
Keep the faith, keep praying
For this time; the wicked will be muted permanently

Psalms 2:4-5 But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.
Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.
