I sat down in church on a Sunday morning

The preacher was really getting the job done

Right there the word of the Lord came to me

I picked my pad and I wrote

What is the benefit of goodies in a godless world?

When we major on mundane things in prayers such as wealth

Health, success, houses, breakthrough etc

And the devil is busy destroying the landmarks

Attacking churches clouding our doctrines,

Attacking the marriage institute

Attacking the youths with all sorts of vices

Shortchanging our values

Bringing war insurgence, threatening nations

Christians are been beheaded

Children of Christians are auctioned

Weapons are being legalized to be sold on the street

These weapons in the hands of a possessed youth will send many to untimely demise

This is the terrible state of the world and Christians spend

Their hours praying for prosperity

An adage says

An untrained child will destroy a mansion

We focus on our own space which by the way is threatened

At the expense of the entire sphere

If you were God will you answer a self centered prayer?
