Courage I need it

Be of good courage Joshua

A man that has no fear is a most dangerous fellow

And truly we get afraid sometimes

Fear of tomorrow, or of the unknown

What will happen if I do take this step?

Every great man will tell you of their fears

Especially as regards their life’s assignment

You must have heard it before: if it’s not big; it’s not God

But that big responsibility may involve a big step from you

And leaving your comfort zone to an unknown route is enough fear

When we say that God needs men to go for Him

What we mean is that people that will step out in spite of their fears

Boldness soon comes

For young Joshua he was soon to discover that fear will hinder him

Thankfully, God had to repeatedly tell him to be courageous?

Who sees Like God sees?

Who knows what He knows

Fear keeps us in check; but should not keep us immobile

Fear is false; the real deal is what the Lord says

Like Joshua let courage lead you, as like him you will win

What of the four lepers; Hear them… if we stay here we die…

But rather than die here let’s face the wrath of the army

God amplified their weakly, unsure steps as the army ran in haste

So what is the worst that could happen if you take that step?

Like those lepers, it’s your discovery to make

If you have heard the Lord and you are afraid

Discuss your fears with Him

If you are unsure, seek confirmation

If you need help, ask for it

But don’t allow fear to keep you stayed more than usual
